Worth being explicit about: the preview runs the same generation MCP Showcase runs for paying customers. It is not a cheaper approximation with the good parts held back. Building a preview that undersold the product would be a strange thing to do — the point is to show you the actual output on your actual server, and let that decide it.
Because it is the real pipeline, it costs real money to run, so there is a small daily limit per visitor. If generation is ever paused, the preview still returns your tools, transport and connect details read live from the server, and says plainly that the written part is missing.
The preview is temporary and read-only. An account turns it into a permanent shareable address, lets visitors actually call your tools live rather than reading examples, makes the overview and the examples editable, gives you an embeddable widget for your own site, and shows you who tried what.
The preview and the server URL are kept so the result has an address you can share, with any credentials in the query string masked out before anything is written. A bearer token you paste is used for that one connection and never reaches our database.
